
Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Kathmandu held a relief supply distribution at a landslide-hit village on 29 August 2019 to render help to families affected by the tragedy. The rain-triggered landslide buried more than 10 houses in the area and two people went missing while they were trying to avoid being buried by the landslide.
Another 12 tons of provision items consisting of rice and wheat, sent by dioceses in Punjab were handed over for distribution on 1 September 2018. Dr K.P. Yohannan Metropolitan handed over the relief materials to Shri Mathew T. Thomas, the minister for water resources. Believers Eastern Church dioceses across India are continuing to send food
