Ranchi Diocese Hosts Easter Milan to Celebrate Christian Unity and the Hope of the Resurrection

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Ranchi hosted a vibrant Easter Milan Samaroh marked by an atmosphere of joy, unity, and spiritual fellowship. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of H.H. Moran Mor Dr Samuel Theophilus Metropolitan, who delivered the Presidential Address, sharing profound reflections on the hope and resurrection of Christ.

The celebration brought together distinguished leaders from various Christian denominations. Among them were Rt. Rev. Simanth Tirkey, Bishop of the Gossner Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ranchi; Rt. Rev. Rajiv Satish Toppo, Archbishop of the North Western Gossner Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ranchi; Rev. Dr. MO Oomen Jr of the Mar Thoma Syrian Orthodox Church; Rev. Fr. Sibin Cherian from the Syrian Orthodox Church, Ranchi; and Rt. Rev. Manmohan Panda of Seekers Fellowship, Ranchi. Their presence added immense value to the ecumenical spirit of the celebration.

The event was further graced by Rev. Fr. Birender Kullu, Roman Catholic Priest from Ranchi, who served as the Guest of Honor for the occasion.
Prominent government dignitaries also attended the event, including Shri Bandhu Tirkey, former Member of the Legislative Assembly from Mandar; Shri Rajesh Kachhap, current MLA from Kijri; and Shri Gyanendra Sir, Additional District Collector of Simdega (IAS).

His Eminence Joshua Mor Barnabas Episcopa, Archbishop of the Kolkata and Jorhat Archdioceses, and Fr. Dr. Daniel Johnson, Secretary General of the Church, were also present on the occasion.

The Easter Milan served as a beautiful testimony of Christian unity and oneness, celebrating the risen Christ with hearts full of faith, joy, and fellowship.
