The Believers Youth and Sunday School Department of Kokrajhar Diocese, Assam, organized a vibrant Youth and Sunday School Festival to mark 25 years of the Youth Fellowship and Sunday School Ministry of the Church in the diocese.
The event brought together 200 youth and 130 Sunday School children from various local churches across the diocese, celebrating a legacy of faith formation and spiritual growth among the younger generation.
Rev. Fr. Ajay Tulsiary, Regional Diocesan Vicar of Diphu Diocese, and Rev. Fr. Ghanakanta Basumatary, Diocesan Vicar of Kokrajhar Diocese, were the main resource persons, ministering from God’s Word based on the theme from Ecclesiastes 12:1 — “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth.” Through their inspiring messages, they encouraged all participants to build a strong relationship with God and live purposefully during their formative years.
Separate sessions were held for the youth and children as well. The children enjoyed engaging activities such as coloring, crafts, indoor games, and Scripture memory recitations, while the youth took part in insightful sessions on prayer life, faith, personal development, and career growth.
Despite the heavy rainfall during the event days, the program was conducted successfully, leaving participants spiritually enriched and deeply inspired. The celebration was a joyful reminder of God’s faithfulness over the past 25 years and a renewed commitment to nurturing the next generation in faith and service.
