Solar Powered Lights Distributed Among Off-Grid Poor Families in Diocese of Chennai

In continuation of its endeavor to improve the quality of life of the poor and needy in remote areas, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Chennai held a social welfare program on 5th December 2017.

During the event, which was held in a hilly, underdeveloped village, the diocese distributed solar powered lights to 30 needy families who had no access to electricity.

Mr. Kuppu Raja (Panjayat President) handed out the solar lights to the families who wholeheartedly thanked the church for this benevolent gesture.
