The District Women’s Fellowship Committee of Believers Eastern Church, Sindhuli, recently organized a One-Day Spiritual Awakening Program at St. Peter’s Believers Eastern Church, Rampur. The gathering brought together 235 women from 18 churches, creating a joyful atmosphere filled with worship, learning, and fellowship.
What made this program truly special was the spirit of generosity and togetherness displayed by the women. Instead of relying on outside support, the women themselves contributed food and supplies, bringing rice, meat, oil, vegetables, fruits, and more — each offering given with love and prayer. It was a beautiful expression of faith in action and the deep bond within the church community.
The program included uplifting teachings by Mrs. Sabita Lama (National Women’s Fellowship Leader) and Sister Pabitra Sunuwar (District Leader). Mrs. Lama spoke on worship, prayer, Holy Communion, and using spiritual gifts to serve the Church, encouraging participants to draw closer to God and serve faithfully. Sister Sunuwar spoke on “Giving as a Way of Life,” highlighting the importance of generosity and living with a heart of love and faith. A special video message, “Passing Faith to the Next Generation” by Mrs. Sarah Johnson, further inspired the women to share their faith with their children and younger believers.
Many participants expressed how the program deeply impacted their spiritual journey, leaving them encouraged to grow stronger in faith and take an active role in their churches.
The event was truly a blessed and meaningful gathering, uniting women in worship, fellowship, and a renewed commitment to serve God and the Church.
