New Academic Year Inaugurated for Sisters of the Cross and Seminarians in Lunuwila

The new academic year for the Sisters of the Cross and the Seminarians was prayerfully inaugurated recently at Lunuwila, Sri Lanka. The service marked a meaningful beginning for the brothers and sisters as they embarked on another year of spiritual formation, theological learning, and preparation for ministry.

The inauguration service was graced by His Eminence John Mor Irenaeus Episcopa, Archbishop of the Delhi and Chennai Archdioceses. His Eminence led the congregation in prayer and delivered a heartfelt exhortation drawn from Scripture, encouraging the students to walk faithfully in their divine calling and remain rooted in Christ throughout their formation journey.

It was a solemn occasion as students, staff, and clergy gathered to seek God’s blessing for the year ahead.

As the Sisters of the Cross and Seminary brothers begin this new chapter of training and discipleship, the Church invites all the faithful to uphold them in prayer, that they may continue to grow in grace, wisdom, and love for Christ and His Church.
