The Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Nagpur joyfully inaugurated the new academic year for the 19th batch of the Sisters of the Cross in a solemn service held at St. Peter Cathedral.
Fifteen new students, along with the SOC team, staff, and community members, gathered for the special occasion. The service was graced by the presence of His Eminence Justin Mor Thomas Episcopa, Archbishop of the Nagpur Archdiocese, who offered special prayers and blessings for the new students as they embark on their one-year training program focused on learning, discipleship, and spiritual formation.
Addressing the students, Archbishop Justin Mor Thomas shared words of encouragement, reminding them of their calling: “You are the light of the world.” He exhorted them to be courageous, to diligently study God’s Word during their training, and to carry the love of Christ to others through their lives and witness.
The service concluded with a prayer of dedication, as the Archbishop prayed over each student, entrusting them to God’s guidance and grace for the journey ahead.
The Archdiocese invites all faithful to uphold these sisters in prayer that their training may be fruitful, and that the Lord may grant them wisdom and understanding to grow in His Word and faithfully fulfill His vision.
