Moran Mor Dr. Samuel Theophilus Metropolitan Delivers Homily at Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons

His Holiness Moran Mor Dr. Samuel Theophilus Metropolitan delivered a homily last Sunday at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons, which was recently elevated to the status of a cathedral by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

Following the homily, parish priest Fr. Dr. Alexander Karloutsos, Spiritual Advisor of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, who was recently conferred the title Megas Protopresbyteros of the Holy and Great Church of Christ by His All-Holiness, along with assistant priest Fr. Constantine Lazarakis, presented Metropolitan Theophilus with a beautifully handcrafted metal icon of the Theotokos.
