Monsoon Floods 2017 – Believers Eastern Church

This year’s monsoon floods, the worst to strike South Asia in more than a decade, have directly affected more than 45 million people across India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and left over 1,400 people dead.

To do its bit to help the affected people, Believers Eastern Church carried out massive relief operations in all the affected nations, reaching out to the victims of the flood and providing immediate relief to communities impacted by the deluge. Over 15,000 kilograms of relief materials were distributed among the affected people. Read the stories below to know more about the church’s relief efforts.

The relief efforts are still ongoing and this post will be updated as new relief reports come in.
