“Let Us All Rise to the Call”: Theophilus Metropolitan Addresses Bible Society Gathering

His Holiness delivered the benedictory address at the 69th Annual General Meeting and Thanksgiving Service of the Bible Society of India, Kerala Auxiliary.

Speaking on the occasion, His Holiness said, “We are all called—called to be missionaries in God’s mission. Let us rededicate ourselves, use our God-given gifts, and boldly share His Word. Reading the Word of God within the family must be a priority—start at home, read it daily, and let it transform you. I am grateful for those in the Bible Society of India who are already igniting change in Kerala. Let us all rise to the call!”

The meeting was presided over by Most Rev. Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan, Auxiliary President, who also inaugurated the Jubilee Projects, marking the beginning of the Auxiliary’s 70th Year Celebration.

H.G. Dr. Zacharias Mar Aprem Metropolitan, President of the Senate of Serampore University, formally inaugurated the Annual Meeting.
Benedictory addresses were also delivered by Rt. Rev. V. S. Francis, Auxiliary Vice-President, and Most Rev. Dr. Thomas Abraham, Presiding Bishop of the St. Thomas Evangelical Church of India.

The gathering witnessed the participation of clergy from various Christian denominations, who offered greetings and spoke on the continuing role of the Church in proclaiming the Gospel.
