Hope for Children Uplifts Families with Gift of Livelihood

On 24th September 2025, the Hope for Children Chotobari Centre, under the Diocese of Khagrachari, brought smiles and renewed hope to vulnerable families by organizing a Goat Distribution Program.

The program, which saw the participation of 39 people, including 31 beneficiary families, community leaders, and church officials, was more than just an event—it was a promise of a better tomorrow. For many families, the goats they received were not just animals but a source of dignity, stability, and opportunity.

With these goats, families can now begin small-scale farming that will provide steady income and food security. The initiative also equips them with training in animal husbandry, ensuring that this gift continues to multiply and benefit future generations.

As the goats were handed over, the faces of the families reflected deep gratitude and joy. For them, this simple act carried the power to transform lives—helping them move from hardship to self-reliance.
