Hope for Children Equips 235 Children for a Brighter Educational Future

For many children, having the right educational supplies can make a meaningful difference in their journey at school. Recognizing this need, the Hope for Children Chaurjahari Center of the Diocese of Kohalpur, Nepal, provided essential learning materials to 235 registered children, helping them continue their education with greater confidence and encouragement.

The children received notebooks, pens, pencils, geometry boxes, and other essential school supplies. The initiative aimed to reduce educational barriers, encourage regular school attendance, and motivate children to remain committed to their studies and future aspirations.

The program brought together children, parents, school principals, community leaders, and Hope for Children personnel, highlighting the importance of working together to support children’s education. District Leader Rev. Fr. Surya G.M. presided over the program, while Mr. Huma Kandappa, Principal of Nawajiwan Believers English School, served as the Chief Guest. Mr. Nandalal K.C., Principal of Shree Kana Jyoti Basic School, and Mr. Keshav K.C., Principal of Shree Bijayashwori Basic School, were also present.

Addressing the children, the guests encouraged them to use the educational materials responsibly, develop regular study habits, and work diligently toward their goals. The Chief Guest described the initiative as “a meaningful investment in children’s futures.”

The program also created an opportunity for meaningful interaction between students, parents, educators, community leaders, and the Hope for Children team. Parents expressed their appreciation for the support, while the children shared that the materials would boost their confidence and encourage them to study regularly.

Through this initiative, the Hope for Children Chaurjahari Center continues to help children overcome educational challenges and pursue their studies with greater support and dignity. The program also strengthened cooperation among families, schools, communities, and Hope for Children in building a stronger educational future for vulnerable children.
