I write to Holy Father with deep reverence and joy as the spiritual head of the Believers Eastern Church, an Eastern Orthodox Church with over 4.5 million faithful spread across four continents. On behalf of our entire communion, I extend my heartfelt congratulations on Your Holiness’s election as the Bishop of Rome and the Supreme Pontiff of the Holy Catholic Church.

The announcement of your election brought great joy to many around the world, including to us in the Believers Eastern Church. Your first words “Peace be with you all” were simple, yet profoundly powerful. They reflect the heart of Christ and the healing that Holy Father’s ministry promises to bring to a divided world.

Your life of humility and service has already spoken volumes, and we rejoice in your deep pastoral concern for the poor, the vulnerable, and the forgotten. It is our prayer that your pontificate will continue to be a beacon of unity and hope for all who seek Christ in sincerity and truth.
