H.H. Moran Mor Dr. Samuel Theophilus Metropolitan Addresses Evening Protest Gathering Organized by KCC

At the evening protest gathering organized by the Current Affairs Committee of the Kerala Council of Churches, H.H. Moran Mor Dr. Samuel Theophilus Metropolitan delivered an address. The event was inaugurated by Shri Jos K Mani, MP, and presided over by H.G. Kuriakose Mar Clemis Metropolitan of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church.

The gathering witnessed the presence of several distinguished leaders, including H.E. Most Rev. Dr. Samuel Mar Irenios (Bishop, Syro Malankara Catholic Church), H.G. Dr. Abraham Mar Seraphim Metropolitan (Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church), Rt. Rev. Dr. Oommen George (Bishop Emeritus, CSI & ACTS President), along with many priests and community representatives.

Standing in solidarity with the highland communities, the protest raised key demands, including ensuring the protection of human life and property from frequent wild animal attacks, the timely amendment of outdated forest laws, and the implementation of urgent measures to tackle the growing menace of stray dogs.

Together, the gathering voiced a collective call for justice, safety, and policy reforms for the well-being of the highland communities.
