Diocese of Monrovia Launches Free Coaching Classes to Empower Children Through Education

The Diocese of Monrovia of Believers Eastern Church, Liberia, has launched a new educational initiative by inaugurating free coaching classes at Kpanay Town, Buchanan, through its Community Transformation Program. The initiative reflects the Church’s commitment to supporting children through quality education and character formation, while affirming that every child is created in the image of God and deserves the opportunity to flourish.

Speaking at the inauguration, Rev. Fr. Sachin Pakhre, Diocesan Vicar of Believers Eastern Church Liberia, highlighted the transformative power of education and encouraged parents to make their children’s education a top priority. He emphasized that education is a pathway to hope, opportunity, and a brighter future, urging families to invest in their children’s learning and personal growth.

The initiative was warmly welcomed by community leaders, who expressed their appreciation for the Church’s efforts to invest in the next generation. They also encouraged parents to ensure their children’s regular participation, reminding them that while the program is offered free of charge, it requires commitment and dedication from both students and families.

The free coaching classes are scheduled to begin on August 1, 2026, and are expected to provide children with valuable academic support while fostering strong moral values and character.
