To mark the day, the Bridge of Hope carried out tree plantation drives, clean-up campaigns and rallies. Through the plantation drive, the Bridge of Hope staff and children planted 1,500 saplings at different places like schools, colleges, hospitals, and road sides. They also distributed saplings door to door and encouraged people to plant the saplings and nurture them.
As part of clean-up drive, they cleaned the surroundings and many other places. They also took out rallies to draw people’s attention towards environmental issues and sensitize them on need for conserving environmental wealth.
Through these different activities they were able to spread awareness among the public about the importance of protecting the environment.
