Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Colossians 3:2 “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”
When we set our minds on what is above, the clutter of earthly worries loosens its grip. Lent becomes a season of realignment, where Christ becomes our focus, and His peace reshapes our thoughts, desires, and daily steps. Lift your mind, and your heart will rise with it.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord Jesus Christ, turn my mind toward things that are above. Quiet the distractions that pull me away, and teach me to seek what is eternal and life-giving. Lift my thoughts, steady my heart, and help me draw closer to You during this Lenten season in clarity, peace, and renewed desire to do Your will. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Psalm 95:8, “Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, as in the day of trial in the wilderness.”
Let us not harden our hearts in rebellion, as the people of Israel of the Old Testament did, and displeased Him. They rebelled even after experiencing His miraculous provisions. They chose to test God rather than trust Him.
May this be our prayer today:
O Lord, soften my heart to trust You and to know Your ways, that I may enter into Your promise of rest and walk in Your ways. Amen +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only.”
We hear God’s Word so often–through Scriptures, songs, priests, nature, friends, and various other means. But how much do we practice what we hear? It is good to examine ourselves to see how often we have remained hearers only and not doers of God’s will.
May this be our prayer today:
O Lord, enable me not only to be a hearer of Your Word, but also a doer. So, to be blessed by You in all my ways. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Hebrews 12:1-2 “…let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.”
Imagine running a marathon with weights tied to your feet—that exactly is what sin does. It turns us away from God, weighs us down, and makes it hard to persevere. We are therefore urged to lay it aside and run our race freely, fixing our eyes on Jesus.
May this be our prayer today:
O Lord, help me lay aside my distractions and sins that easily turn me away from You. Help me to fix my eyes on You, the Author and Finisher of my faith. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Psalm 37:1, 4 “Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.”
We often compare ourselves with others and feel discouraged, feeling that we deserve to have what our neighbour has. Instead, we are reminded to take delight in the Lord, who gives us the desires of our hearts.
May this be our prayer today:
O Lord, during this season of Lent, help me to set my eyes and heart on You and to take delight in You. Help me to trust in You to fulfil the desires of my heart. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Philippians 4:6, 7 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Anxiety is a part of life, but we don’t have to be overcome by it. When we bring our concerns to God in prayer, He promises His peace to guard our hearts.
May this be our prayer today:
O Lord, I confess that I often drown in anxiety and cannot find my way out. During this season of Lent, help me to bring all my problems to You in prayer, and to experience the peace You have promised. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Psalm 32:1 “Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.”
We often try to cover up our faults and sins from God, fearing the consequences if they are exposed. But we are reminded that when we confess our wrongs instead of covering them up, we will receive the blessing of forgiveness from Almighty God.
May this be our prayer today:
O Lord, I am afraid to bring my sins and failures into the open and confess them. During this season of Lent, help me to confess my faults and lay them bare, that I may be led to experience the joy and blessedness of forgiveness and a clean heart, through the indwelling work of the Holy Spirit. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ, Let us meditate on: Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”
Everything starts when we allow God to transform us inwardly. Renewal is His work in us, not our accomplishment.
May this be our Prayer today:
Dear Lord, cleanse my heart and renew my spirit. Shape and remake me again by Your unending mercy. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Psalm 41:1 “Blessed is he who considers the poor; the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.”
Compassion opens the door to God’s mercy. When our hearts turn towards the weak and the lowly, God’s healing turns towards us.
May this be our prayer today:
Loving Lord, soften my heart towards those in need, just like You. I plead for Your mercy to flow through me and rest upon me. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: 1 Corinthians 1:27 “God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.”
God’s wisdom brings down human pride, and arrogance of all forms. He chooses the humble and the unnoticed so that His glory, not ours, is revealed.
May this be our prayer today:
Merciful Lord, help me to humble myself so that Your wisdom will guide me and make me. I plead for Your strength to grow and be perfected by overcoming my weakness. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ, Let us meditate on: Genesis 37:28 “Then Midianite traders passed by; so the brothers pulled Joseph up and lifted him out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver. And they took Joseph to Egypt.”
Even betrayals of any kind can turn out to be God’s purpose in our lives. What seems like a loss becomes the very road through which God shapes and saves.
May this be our prayer today:
Compassionate Lord, hold me steady when life turns against me and its toll seems heavy on me. I give myself to You to work Your purposes even through what I cannot understand at the moment. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ, Let us meditate on: Psalm 50:14 “Offer to God thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High.”
True worship begins with gratitude. When thanksgiving rises from the heart, our lives become an offering that pleases and honours God.
May this be our prayer today:
Eternal Lord, fill my heart with gratitude and praises. I implore You to shape my life to be an offering that pleases You. Amen+

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: 1 Corinthians 3:16 “You are God’s temple, and the Spirit of God dwells in you.”
Our worth is not measured by the world but by the God who dwells within us. His presence makes our lives sacred and our choices holy.
May this be our prayer today:
All powerful Lord, my deep longing is for Your Spirit to dwell richly in me and guide me to walk in Your ways. My Lord, I pray that You make my life an abode of Your holiness. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ, Let us meditate on: Psalm 55:22 “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you.”
Strength is when we stop carrying everything ourselves. God upholds the hearts that entrust their daily burdens to Him. He sustains those whose desires, wants, burdens, and even the hidden weights are cast upon Him, to be lightened for His glory.
May this be our prayer today:
Everlasting Lord, I place my burdens and all that weigh me down in Your caring hands. Please sustain me with Your peace and keep me close to You. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: 2 Kings 2:10 “You have asked a hard thing; yet, if you see me as I am taken from you, it shall be so for you.”
May we, like Elisha, stay close, stay faithful, and stay awake, so that the Holy Spirit may continue His work in us and through us not just for now, but through the years to come.
May this be our prayer today:
My Lord, my God, keep me faithful and watchful in Your path. Grant me the grace to stay close to You, so that Your Spirit has the freedom to work in me and through me. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Genesis 41:55 “Go to Joseph; what he says to you, do.”
God works His providence through willing and obedient people. When we offer ourselves in faith to do what He tells, His care reaches out to us even millions of miles away.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord Jesus Christ, grant me a faithful, obedient, and willing heart. Make my life solely an instrument of Your providence, that through my obedience Your care may reach those You entrust to me. Strengthen me during this Lenten season to stay close to You, awake in spirit, and steadfast in service. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Psalm 61:2 “From the ends of the earth I call to You, when my heart is faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”
Even the faintest faith, when turned towards God, becomes a step into mighty strength. Acknowledge God, and He will draw you closer, lifting your weary and fainting heart, steadying your steps, and leading you to the Rock that never fails.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord Almighty, draw me close to Your heart, my strength is weak. Teach me to acknowledge You in all things, and let my faintest faith lead me into Your grace. Steady my heart and guide my steps in Your mercy. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Genesis 42:18 “Do this and you will live, for I fear God.”
True power is never for domination. When the fear of God fills the heart, authority becomes humble, restrained, and lifegiving. It teaches us that God-given power is not for mastery over others, but for guarding our own hearts from pride.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord Jesus Christ, teach my heart to fear You in truth, so that any authority You entrust to me may be exercised with humility and restraint. Guard me from arrogance, and may Your wisdom govern my words, my decisions, and my service. Make my strength gentle, my power compassionate, and my leadership a reflection of Your mercy. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Psalm 74:16-17 “The day is yours, and yours also the night; you established the sun and moon. It was you who set all the boundaries of the earth; you made both summer and winter.”
The God who shaped the world out of chaos can shape your life as well. The One who set boundaries for the earth and adorned creation with seasons can enter any disorder you face and bring beauty where there is confusion. Trust yourself into His hands—He has never failed to make chaos bloom into order.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord Jesus Christ, You brought order to the world and set beauty upon the earth. Please enter the places of chaos within my life. Speak Your peace into my confusion, and shape my brokenness into wholeness and good. Teach me to trust Your steady hand, and let Your grace decorate my life with the beauty only You can give. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ, Let us meditate on: Psalm 69:20 “Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of despair.”
Innocent suffering cuts deeply, often shaking the very core of who we are. Yet the Psalm teaches us that God repairs even this rupturing of identity. When the heart is broken and the self feels undone, He remains as the One who holds us close, restoring us to peace and hope.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord Jesus Christ, You who know the pain of innocent suffering, look upon the places where my heart feels shaken and undone. When sorrow unsettles my sense of self, steady me with Your compassion and truth. Lord my God, I ask that You hold my being in Your gentle hands and restore the parts of me wounded by reproach and burdens. Let Your mercy repair what suffering has broken. Please help me to find my true self in You again. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ, Let us meditate on: Genesis 43:30 “Then Joseph hurried out, for his compassion grew warm for his brother, and he sought a place to weep.”
Reconciliation begins not with proving who is right, but with choosing to love. Joseph shows us that grace moves first, opening the heart before explanations are offered. When compassion leads, healing follows. True reconciliation grows where generous acceptance triumphs over correctness.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord Jesus Christ, soften my heart with grace that moves before judgment. Teach me to welcome others with Joseph’s generosity, letting compassion lead rather than the need to prove oneself right. Fill me with the mercy that heals and restores, and make my life a place where reconciliation begins. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: St. Matthew 15:11 “Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”
Words reveal wounds; repentance heals the tongue before it heals the world. Since our words flow from the abundance of the heart, let us diligently tame the tongue and speak with grace.
May this be our prayer today:
Gracious Lord, grant me the grace to fast from the harsh words that reveal the hidden stubbornness and wounds of my heart. Show me the truth that my repentance first heals my tongue, so that my speech becomes a source of peace for those around me. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Psalm 80:3 “Restore us, O God; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved!”
Lent is the cry of a people who, knowing their brokenness, self-righteousness, distractions, and painful paths, plead for restoration and return, and turn back to God. It is a deep renewal and realisation of God’s true presence, and not merely a change of habit.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord Almighty, help me to bring my brokenness as it is and seek Your real healing and wellness. Please change my heart and make me new again in Your likeness. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Psalm 119:101 “I have restrained my feet from every evil way, that I may keep Your word.”
True obedience begins with a conscious choice to turn away from the paths that lead us astray. By restraining our feet from the everyday evils of pride, anger, and hate, we make a holy space where God’s Word can finally take root and guide our steps.
May this be our prayer today:
Loving Lord, give me the strength and willingness to turn back from paths that do not honour You, so that my heart remains a dwelling place for You. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Psalm 42:1 “As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God.”
This season is for a holy thirst, an aching desire that strips away our distractions to reveal a soul longing for its eternal Source. Just as the deer seeks the stream to survive, we recognise that our deepest hunger is not for the world and what it offers, but for the life-giving presence of God.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord Jesus, my soul thirsts for You alone. In the dryness of this journey, lead me to Your living waters and refresh my soul. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ, Let us meditate on: St. Mark 6:51 “Then He went up into the boat to them, and the wind ceased. And they were greatly amazed in themselves beyond measure, and marvelled.”
Our journey is an encounter with Christ—a daily and ongoing encounter. He comes where we cannot go, and His presence turns panic into peace, and hurts into healing.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord God, may Your presence steady my soul amidst the storms of life along my path. Turn my panic into the stillness of Your peace, and let my hurts and wounds become the very place where Your healing and hope begin to grow. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: 1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”
It is a call to trust in the Divine resources when faced with intense trials, and assuring us that God will not push you beyond your capacity to bear them. The way of escape is often as normal as it is: reading the Holy Scripture, reciting them, seeking godly counsel, prayer, fasting, and shifting the burden from your own will power and strength to relying on God.
May this be our prayer today:
Master and Lord, grant me a watchful heart to see, and a sensitive mind to know my own problems of sin, and trust in the way of escape You provide in every trial. I say to You, my Lord, “I trust Your faithfulness to sustain me when my own strength fails.” Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: 1 Peter 3:9 “Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.”
We are called to rise above the hurts and repay insults with kindness, and evil with a blessing. Let us allow this season to train our hearts in humility and compassion, transforming us to be a blessing.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord, my Saviour, help me to respond with kindness when I am met with unkindness. Teach me to bless others and forgive everyone, for You have shown me mercy and grace Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: 1 Corinthians 10:24 “Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.”
Lent is a season for us to stop thinking about ourselves and instead think of others—consider others better than ourselves. Let us diligently find ways to love and serve others during this season and take pride in doing so. This will make us grow more to be like Jesus.
May this be our prayer today:
Dear Lord, shift my gaze from my own needs to those around me. Help me to deliberately look for the good in others, serve others, give dignity to others, and make others feel greater than myself. Teach me the joy of quiet service and give me a heart that truly places others first. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: 1 Corinthians 11:28-29 “Let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.”
Let us examine ourselves, looking inward with honesty, asking God to reveal all hidden bitterness, unconfessed sin, and broken relationships that need mending and reshaping. Take time to make things right between yourself and God, and yourself and others.
May this be our prayer today:
Merciful Lord, reveal any hidden bitterness and brokenness within me and give me the grace to mend my relationships. Help me to allow Your Holy Spirit to make things right with You and others so that I may walk in Your peace and truth. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Genesis 50:19-20 “Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. Now, therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.” And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.”
There are people in our lives who may have done much harm to us. They might have hurt us—mentally, emotionally, or even physically. Ask God to help you forgive them completely; and to love them just like Joseph did with his brothers.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord Jesus, I bring to You the wounds and hurts that others have caused in my life. Heal my wounds and heart, and give me the strength to forgive, replacing my hurt with Your love, and my bitterness with Your joy and peace. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: 1 Corinthians 12:24-25 “But God composed the body, having given greater honour to that part which lacks it, that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.”
Every member of the human body is equally important to its life and foundation in the Body of Christ. So is the Church in the world. We have different gifts, and each one is important for its wellness, and we should not look down upon any one of the gifts. So, also in the Holy Church, the Body of Christ. Often the people who seem to be the least important are actually the most important. Learn to treat them with respect and love, just as God would.
May this be our prayer today:
Compassionate Lord, forgive me for the times I have overlooked the least and vulnerable that I come across every day. Help me, I pray, to treat everyone as members of Your Body, with deep respect and love. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: 1 Corinthians 13:3 “And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.”
We can be the most talented and gifted person around, but if we do not have love, it is worthless. Love is the most excellent way. It means that even those acts of charity, if not done with genuine love that is totally selfless, but with a wrong motive, is not accepted by the Lord. Let us work along with the Holy Spirit who is in us, seeking God’s mercy and grace to be formed and shaped day by day, emulating our Lord Jesus.
May this be our prayer today:
Loving Lord, please help me realise that my worth is not in my talents or in the good works I do, but in how I love You and those around me. Guard me from the pride of my own gifts and talents; and lead me in Your most excellent way. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Exodus 3:11-12 “Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”
So, He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”
Sometimes God asks us to do things that seem impossible and maybe even scary and beyond our human capacities. We should remember that God is not sending us alone, He is with us, and He will help us and work through us. For that which God calls you and entrusts you, He will also enable you.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord our God, when I face the unknown, quiet my doubts and fears with the strength of Your presence. Remind me that I am never alone, and grant me the grace to hold fast to You. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Ephesians 4:9-10 “Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.”
Walking as children of light means living openly and sincerely before God. Rather than hiding our mistakes or simply following a crowd, we are called to choose what is right, kind, and true. Each day, make it a practice to ask yourself, “Do my choices and decisions reflect God’s desire?” Allow His light to shine in your heart with discernment, and to guide your steps.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord of Lights, help me live in the eternal, ever-shining light of You today. May everything I say and do be good, honest, and pleasing to You, sanctified by the power of Your ever-shining light. Guide my feet on the right path. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Mark 9:37 “Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me.”
The way of Christ is the way of the Cross, where true greatness is found in humble service unnoticed, and not for fame. Therefore, whoever acts in Christ’s name, even in small deeds, participates in His saving work and receives the Heavenly Father who sent Him into the world.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord of all grace, help me embrace the way of the Cross today by choosing humble service over the need for fame and recognition. In every small task and in every person I meet, may I serve with the heart of Christ, knowing that these simple acts connect me directly to Your saving work. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: Psalm 121:7 “The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.”
In my watchfulness and trust, I discover God as the unfailing keeper of my life; He does not just watch my footsteps, but guards my very soul, preserving my inner peace and purpose from the harms of this world.
May this be our prayer today:
Precious Lord, thank You for being the guardian of my soul, protecting my heart from bitterness, and my spirit from despair. I choose to trust Your watchful eyes over my days and life, knowing that my life is secure in You and I am firmly held in Your hands. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: St. Mark 10:14 “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.”
Like a child, we enter God’s Kingdom not through our own achievements, but by grace, trust, simplicity, and an open heart. By letting go of our need for control and by coming to God just as we are, we discover that His kingdom is a gift to be received, not a reward to be earned.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord of all kindness, help me approach You with the simple trust of a child, stripping away my pride. I lay down the struggle to control my life, and simply rest in the grace of being Your child, cherished and led by You. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: St. Luke 1:37 “For nothing will be impossible with God.”
In the midst of life’s uncertainties, we are called to trust God even when His plans seem beyond what we can imagine and comprehend. How often do we limit the scope of His power because of our own human understanding? With God, there are no limits; let us choose faith over doubt in our limitations.
May this be our prayer today:
Precious Lord, strengthen my faith that I may trust You, even when Your ways seem beyond understanding. May I, like St. Mary, surrender to Your will, trusting that nothing is impossible for You. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: 2 Corinthians 3:18 “And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”
We are invited into a deeper, more intimate relationship with God, where we are transformed to behold His glory. The process of transformation is ongoing. As we behold God’s glory with unveiled faces, we are gradually conformed to the image of Christ. This is not a sudden process, but one that happens step by step—the work of the Holy Spirit in shaping our hearts, minds, and lives to reflect the love, grace, and holiness of our Saviour.
May this be our prayer today:
Glorious Lord, remove the veil from my heart, that I may behold Your glory with clarity and be transformed by Your Spirit. Help me to surrender to the work You are doing within me, that I may be made in Your image, reflecting you fully day after day. Amen +

Beloved in Christ, Let us meditate on: Psalm 22 “My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? Why are You so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning?”
In His cry of abandonment, Jesus descends into the very heart of human loneliness, entering into our own experience of being betrayed and forsaken. When we bring our fears and groaning deliberately before Him, our isolation is no longer empty—it becomes a sacred space where His life takes root and God’s purpose unfolds.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord of All, when I feel alone and weighed down, remind me that You are present in my struggles. Help me turn my fears into trust, and my isolation into a space You will enter in so that Your purpose can grow. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ, Let us meditate on: 2 Corinthians: 4:16 “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are renewed day by day.”
Let us remember that the pain we bear in our bodies for the Lord is never in vain. Even when we feel weary and worn out from within, He is faithfully renewing our spirit and strengthening our hearts to know Him deeply and to serve Him selflessly.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord of all comfort, though my body feels weak and my spirit weary, I know that my suffering has purpose in You. In Your presence, renew my spirit and strengthen my heart, that I may serve You faithfully even through my weariness. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ, Let us mediate on: Romans 8:18 “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”
Let us not be overcome by the sufferings of this world—its daily struggles, pain, misunderstandings, and sickness. For the Lord has prepared something far greater for us: His glory, which will be revealed in us.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord of glory, in the midst of suffering, confusion, and weariness, I confess that I often feel burdened and weak. Grant me the grace to trust that You are preparing something greater, and renew my spirit and strengthen my heart to walk faithfully with You. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ, Let us mediate on: Genesis 3:13 “Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
We can easily be led astray when we listen to voices opposed to God’s truth. Let us, therefore, remain steadfast in obeying His commands, and resist the temptations of the world that contradict His Word. Sin is not a small matter—it separates us from God—but through faith and obedience, we can walk in His light, and share in the life He intends for us.
May this be our prayer today:
Wonderful Lord, keep me steadfast in obeying Your commands and give me the strength to resist the temptations that surround me each day. Guide me to walk in faith and obedience of Your Word, so that I may live in the light and fullness of the life You intend for me. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ, Let us mediate on: 1 Corinthians 1:27 “God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.”
God’s wisdom often overturns human expectations. Our achievements, status, or intellect cannot be the foundation of faith, because God delights in working through the humble and unnoticed. In this way, pride is silenced, gratitude is awakened, and our lives are reoriented to glorify Him rather than ourselves.
May this be our prayer today:
Loving Lord, help me rely on Your strength instead of my own, and remind me to serve others with humility. Keep my heart grateful so that in all I do, Your name is honoured. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ, Let us meditate on: Hebrews 12:1-2 “Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”
Our call and duty is to set aside the weights and distractions that hinder our journey of faith. Endurance comes from looking to the One who faced suffering with unwavering hope. His example strengthens us to persevere, reminding us that true victory is found in steadfast trust.
May this be our prayer today:
Dear Lord, I come before You, carrying burdens that weigh me down, and sins that slow my steps. Grant me the courage to let go of distractions, discipline to resist temptation, and faith to keep moving forward. Help me fix my eyes on You and reflect Your love, even in the small choices I make each day. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ, Let us meditate on: St. John 13:14–15 “If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.”
In the humble act of washing the feet of His disciples, Jesus showed that true discipleship is marked by service, humility, and compassion. It consists in serving even the ‘nobody.’ We are called to follow Jesus’ example—setting aside pride, embracing humility, and serving one another with sincere love. This alone will be the living Gospel to recognise us as His followers and to embrace Christ our Lord.
May this be our prayer today:
Humble and Passionate Christ our Lord, teach me to embrace humility and serve others with compassion, just as You have shown. I am always enticed by the patterns of the world around me. Draw me to You, and discipline my thoughts and actions to reflect Your love, so that others may see You through me. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ, Let us meditate on: Isaiah 53:5 “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”
Holy Friday calls us to stand at the foot of the Cross, contemplating the depth of Christ’s sufferings—sufferings that He took upon Himself out of pure love. As He offers Himself for our salvation to redeem and set us free in life, we are invited to draw near with faith, hold fast to hope, and live transformed by the values, morals and spirituality demonstrated to us by His eternal, selfless and propitiatory sacrifice.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord Jesus, on this Holy Friday, I bow my head before Your Cross, where You were pierced for my transgressions and crushed for my iniquities. Teach me to draw near to Your Cross with faith, hold fast to hope, and allow Your love and selflessness to guide my actions, and lead me to live each day in gratitude for the salvation You have actualised for me. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ,
Let us meditate on: 1 Peter 4:1 “Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin.”
Christ’s suffering broke the dominion of sin, and its power and curse over humanity, showing us that trials are not punishment, but a path to purification. When we endure in faith, our struggles free us from sin’s grip and align us with God’s will. Holy Saturday reveals that suffering is the doorway to resurrection and new life.
May this be our prayer today:
Lord Jesus, in the silence of this day when You rested in the tomb, teach us to embrace stillness as a path of purification. May our suffering draw us away from sin and unite us to Your victory, and lead us into the joy of resurrection. Amen. +

Beloved in Christ, Let us meditate on: 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 “For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance : that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”
Had Christ not risen, our faith would be empty, and our Gospel and preaching would be in vain. But because He is risen, we have eternal life, and our lives are filled with hope. We are, therefore, called not only to believe, but to live and proclaim the power of His resurrection, which conquers sin and death, and ushers us into new life.
May this be our prayer today:
Risen Lord, You died, was buried, and rose again according to the Scriptures. Fill us with faith that is every hopeful and strong even in sufferings and pain. May we live and proclaim the power of Your resurrection, sharing the hope of new life with everyone in word and deed: Embracing the unloved, lonely, broken, unnoticed, and destitute, through the power of Your love and resurrection, and ushering everyone into a new way of life. Amen. +
