600 Youths Gather for a Life-Changing Camp in Bihar

A vibrant and spiritually enriching five-day Summer Youth Camp was successfully held in Patna district from 18th to 22nd June 2025, bringing together around 600 enthusiastic youths from Believers Eastern Church parishes across Bihar. The camp became a transformative gathering marked by powerful teachings, meaningful fellowship, and joyful worship, offering a unique platform for spiritual renewal and learning.

The camp was graced by the presence of His Grace Yakob Mor Theophanous Episcopa, who, through his inspiring sessions, offered deep spiritual insights on faith, responsibility, and the journey of Christian discipleship, leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts of the young attendees.

Centred around the theme “Journey”, the camp led the youths through a five-day spiritual pilgrimage, with each day focusing on a specific sub-theme. The opening day set the tone with warm welcomes, prayers, and orientation sessions that prepared everyone for the days ahead. The following days encouraged personal reflection and repentance, a renewed connection with God, a deeper appreciation for the Church and its traditions, and a call to actively serve in the life and mission of the Church. The final day culminated in a heartfelt celebration of the Divine Liturgy, a time of thanksgiving, and closing reflections—bringing the journey full circle with joy and gratitude.

From early morning devotions and Bible meditations to lively group discussions, creative workshops, and worship sessions, each day was filled with activities that engaged both heart and mind. Evenings were reserved for “Footprint” gatherings—moving testimonies, cultural expressions, and moments of quiet reflection that helped the youths connect more deeply with one another and with God.

The impact of the camp was profound. Many young participants renewed their spiritual commitments, while others expressed a strong desire to serve the Church more actively. All left with a strengthened sense of identity and purpose.
