19th Batch of Sisters of the Cross Inaugurated at World Church Headquarters

The 19th batch of the Sisters of the Cross was officially inaugurated by H.H. Moran Mor Dr. Samuel Theophilus Metropolitan at the Believers Eastern Church World Headquarters today. The ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter for the candidates as they embark on a journey of spiritual formation and service.

During the inauguration, His Holiness shared an exhortation from God’s Word, encouraging the sisters to remain steadfast in their calling. He also offered special prayers for their formation, committing them into God’s care as they prepare for the path ahead.

The new batch comprises candidates from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Over the coming months, they will undergo rigorous training designed to equip them for a life of compassionate service, particularly among society’s most neglected and vulnerable populations, including lepers, slum children, and those living on the margins.
